Meet Our Board Members
Our nonprofit board members are based in Canada and Lesotho and bring global expertise across governance, finance, health, law, and international development.
Marc-André Roy
Board Chair
Co-CEO of CPCS, a global infrastructure consulting firm serving public and private sector clients worldwide.
Marc-André is the Co-CEO of CPCS, a global management consulting firm specializing in infrastructure. He has worked for public and private sector clients in North America, Asia, South America, the Middle East, the Caribbean and Africa.
His Board experience includes private sector and not-for-profit boards.
Marc-André has an international MBA from the Schulich School of Business and holds the ICD.D designation. He is fluent in English and French and is based in Ottawa, Canada. He joined the Board of Help Lesotho in February of 2024.
Dave Johnston
Chair, Finance & Audit Committee
Retired Chartered Accountant with extensive private-sector experience supporting global finance teams and business leaders. Former Director of Finance and Auditing for the Ottawa Hunt Club.
Dave is a retired Chartered Accountant living in Ottawa. His professional career was largely in the private sector helping business’ meet and exceed their financial goals and supporting and mentoring global business leaders and multinational finance teams. His latter career branched into business development, marketing and sales positions.
Dave served six years as Director of Finance and Auditing on the Board of the Ottawa Hunt Club. After learning of the impressive work of Help Lesotho and its positive impact for the Basotho people, Dave was delighted to join the Help Lesotho Board as Chair of the Finance and Audit Committee. He very much enjoys meeting our donors and engaging in ever more ways to contribute.
Jennifer Parr
Chair, Governance Committee
Executive Leadership Coach with 20+ years of experience supporting leaders across sectors. Founding Help Lesotho board member and former Vice President of Human Resources.
Jennifer Parr is a wife, a mother, an avid world traveller, and an Executive Leadership Coach who, for the last twenty years, has had the privilege of walking with leaders, in all sectors. She is passionate about inspiring and supporting her clients to achieve both success and significance through their leadership.
Jennifer has served on the Boards of a number of organizations whose mission it is to empower marginalized people groups to change the trajectory of their lives. Jennifer was a founding member of the Help Lesotho Board and previously served nine years on the Board. She has been to Lesotho nine times and understands firsthand the life changing work of the Help Lesotho approach and programs. She brings this wealth of experience to her second term on the board.
Jennifer has an M.B.A from the University of Western Ontario. Previous to becoming an executive coach, she was a Vice President of Human Resources in two large Canadian corporations.
Susan Richardson
Chair, HR Committee
Senior executive with 30+ years of experience in technology, finance, and software industries. Brings extensive board and leadership experience.
Susan has extensive senior executive experience with over 30 years experience in the information technology, insurance, finance and software industries. Her diverse areas of focus include; sales, operations, professional services, business development and customer service. She also brings extensive coaching experience in Financial Services, Capital Markets and advancement of women.
Susan’s career is built with a strong people and management foundation with 14 years experience at IBM. She has applied this to the fast paced world of two start-up organizations which culminated in the executive position of a North American Professional Services and Customer Care organization at a large software firm. In addition to her business interests, Susan is active in the not-for profit community. She has vast board experience in the areas of strategic planning, communications, governance, development, leadership and fundraising.
Nzwaki Adonisi
Director
Strategist and Chartered Accountant focused on sustainable finance and systems change across Africa.
Nzwaki is a facilitator, strategist, and chartered accountant with over 14 years of experience at the intersection of impact, systems change, and sustainable finance across Africa. Her work is rooted in a commitment to being in service of authentic collaboration, regenerative practices and community-led transformation that drives sustainable and inclusive futures — where unheard and underserved voices are centered.
She has led and designed pan-African projects across diverse sectors and themes such as sustainable and inclusive finance; gender equity; food security; gender-based violence prevention; climate justice; dismantling structural racism; youth social entrepreneurship; place-based innovation; and impact investing. Her clients and partners have included The School of International Futures, Tshiamo Impact Partners, Circle Generation, Rockefeller Foundation, United Nations FAO, World Economic Forum, Médecins Sans Frontières, Allan and Gill Gray Philanthropy, GIZ, Institute for Security Studies and Stellenbosch University (Public Squares). In addition to leading her own practice, Nzwaki’s career has included roles at Deloitte, Transaction Capital, Allan Gray, Reos Partners and Momentus Global.
Nzwaki is a board member of several mission-driven organizations such as the Female Academic Leaders Fellowship (FALF), where she contributes to advancing gender and racial equity in academia by dismantling structural barriers to inclusive knowledge production. In 2020, she co-founded Ima Nathi, a non-profit designed to democratize access to funding, technical support, and strategic networks for women-led SMEs in South Africa. Nzwaki is a 2025 Archbishop Tutu Leadership Fellow.
Adv. Rapelang Mosae
Director
Legal Services Manager for the Office of the Auditor-General and governance specialist.
Adv. Rapelang Mosae is an admitted Advocate of the Courts of Lesotho with over 8 years professional experience. He is a dynamic and accomplished legal professional with an LLM in Law, Governance and Development as well as an LLB. He has experience in human rights law, project management, capacity building on governance as well as stakeholder engagement.
Adv. Mosae is currently the Legal Services Manager for the Office of the Auditor-General in Lesotho, he has previously served as a Democracy and Human Rights Coordinator for the Lesotho Council of NGOs (LCN), a Programme Manager for Public Service and Accountability at the Transformation Resource Centre (TRC) and a Technical Lead on the National Security Sector Reforms for Peacebuilding Project under the banner of Skillshare Lesotho. Adv. Mosae is also a governance consultant who has served as a legal analyst for the very first European Union Commission Election Observation Mission in Lesotho as well as its exploratory Mission. He continues to serve many civil society organisations and governance bodies as a technical assistant, including the Lesotho Country Coordinating Mechanism (LCCM) and SheHive Association. He has interacted with Help Lesotho in various for a including training Girl4ce on legislation related to GBV and inheritance in Lesotho. He currently sits on the Country Advisory Board for the Regional Psychosocial Support Initiative (REPSSI).
Adv. Mosae is also a writer and researcher who contributes opinion pieces on issues of governance and human rights in Lesotho, he has recently co-authored a book chapter titled “The Constitutional Powers of the Attorney General Within the Context of Coalition Government”, in the book titled Coalition Politics in Lesotho.
Tumelo Raboletsi
Director
Public service and international relations professional with over 20 years of experience.
Tumelo Raboletsi is a seasoned public servant and international relations professional with over two decades of experience in government, multilateral, and nonprofit sectors. His career spans leadership roles in stakeholder engagement, civil registration, governance, and diplomacy, where he has consistently driven reform, built trust among diverse stakeholders, and delivered impactful national programs.
Known for his persuasive communication and negotiation skills, Tumelo has worked at the intersection of policy, governance, and community engagement across Lesotho, SADC, and international platforms. His expertise lies in building strong partnerships, managing complex reforms, and ensuring citizen-centered solutions in sensitive areas such as land management, civil registration, and anti-trafficking initiatives.
Dr. Amy Weber
Director
Family physician and health equity advocate.
Dr. Amy Weber is a family physician and health advocate based in North Vancouver, BC. She earned her medical degree from the University of British Columbia in 2006. Prior to medical school, she worked as an epidemiologist in the field of HIV prevention.
Amy is a strong advocate for health equity. She believes the social determinants of health are driving forces in determining health outcomes.
Amy has worked in both Canada and internationally including South Africa. Amy has travelled to Lesotho numerous times and is the proud parent of two Basotho children. On a recent trip to Lesotho, she had the opportunity to visit the Help Lesotho Hlotse site with her children. This visit solidified her appreciation of the life-changing work being done through Help Lesotho. Participating on the board and contributing to the vital work being done is a privilege.

Help Lesotho, a bi-national registered NGO in Canada and Lesotho, seeks mission driven leaders to join our Volunteer Board. For over 21 years, we have engaged, trained and empowered young people and communities in Lesotho, building over 60,000 alumni leaders driving social change.
This year, we are particularly interested in candidates with expertise and experience in international cooperation, fundraising/donor engagement, and board governance. Reflecting our commitment to building a culturally and generationally diverse board we encourage applications from leaders of all backgrounds.
Board members will:
